In 1973, while I was in college preparing for a career as an attorney, the Honda Motor Company unveiled the Honda Civic. Being a motorcycle racer since a very early age, I had witnessed Honda motorcycles go from 50cc scooters to the most dominant motorcycles in the World. With the thought that if Honda does to the automotive industry what they did to the motorcycle industry, they would someday be the World’s most dominate Car Company. So I left college and went to work at a Honda Automobile dealership, and I turned my attention from Law to Engineering.

During the day I worked at the dealership, and at night and on weekends I developed high performance Honda automotive products. In 1984, the Honda CRX hit the streets and Jackson Racing started SCCA Road Racing on a full time basis. By 1990, just 6 short years later, my cars had won every major SCCA National Championship available, including Back to Back SCCA Endurance National Championships, a round of the World Rally Championship, a SCORE Off Road Championship, and several Ice Racing National Championships.

By 1990, I had won enough National and World Championship events to quench my desire for racing… for a while. I turned my attention to developing supercharger systems for Compact Performance vehicles. Worldwide, many major magazines have featured my superchargers systems on the cover of their magazines. My supercharger systems have also won numerous engineering awards including the prestigious Special Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Award for the Best Engineered Product.

Today I’ve created a new Jackson Racing in Southern California. The new World Headquarters for Jackson Racing features a new location, a new engineering staff, a new manufacturing staff, and a new team of salesmen that are all racers. I have a new team of CAD draftsmen, along with CNC machining centers. And I now have a new, Patented, Rotrex Supercharger that is the quietest most efficient Supercharger ever produced.

And I am back at the track again. Racing is the backbone of our company, and is what started it all. Oscar Jr. is out of school now and is working with me full time. He is a chip off the old block. And his desire for speed on two wheels or four wheels is sometimes more intense than mine was back in the day. We will be participating in SpeedVentures.com track day events at most west coast venues. So watch our Newsgroup for dates/events we will be participating in. Better yet, sign up at SpeedVentures.com for one of our events and join us for a fun weekend. I will be there to assist you with car set up and Oscar Jr. will be helping with driving instructions. You will probably get to meet a large number of our engineering/manufacturing team also as they are all racers. I look forward to seeing you at the track.
